Club History

The story of Hampton United begins with social cricket in the early 1920s. On 10 September 1926 members of the church met to formalise a team — and the Hampton Methodist Cricket Club was born.

Who We Are

Our longevity is thanks to founding church members, committees, volunteers and players who steered us through good and tough times. For ninety-five years we’ve championed values only team sport delivers — belonging, resilience and mateship — reflecting the vision and values of the Bayside community.
